In my Junior year video editing class my classmate, Mallory Schmidt, and I created an accreditation video for our principal. We decided to make this video upon request of our teacher. This video needed to be made for the accreditation board to analyze, since members do not want to come to the school due to cover precautions. This video is a tour of Lincoln Lutheran, highlighting the history and new additions of the school. I am most proud of the parts where the cutaways take place. I think having these clips to show what the principal was talking about was helpful. If I could change anything it would have to be how we attained the audio from some of the clips, like in the big gym, it was hard to hear what he was taking about. I think the hardest part of this project was how the principal talked with his hands, so cutting out the raw parts of the video made it look like there were little jumps. If I were to approach this project differently, I would just spend more time on the little edits and making smooth transitions.
