In my junior year during video editing class I was assigned with the task of making a commercial for something at Lincoln Lutheran. I choose to make a video about the class Advanced Chemistry. I decided to film them working on a lab, so I could get a variety of shots. I also had Mr. Deeter, the teacher, say a few reasons why taking this class is a good idea. I tried to get footage of majority of the people in the class, and get their opinions on the class. I am proud of the shot where water is being poured into the test tube. I also really liked the introduction, I think it made sense for the type of video. I found it really challenging to fit everything together and make a cohesive video, in only thirty seconds. Doing this helped me to learn to find the important parts of a clip, and make the time count. If I would redo this project, I would try to get better audio. Some of the sound while people were talking was a little bit quiet, so it would be nice to get better sound. Overall I am proud of this video and how it turned out.
